As a not-for-profit we are continually reinvesting our money to create new products and solutions to meet our customers’ changing needs.
Two of our latest innovations have been the GPC exclusive Shopping Card and the Food Club Card launched in partnership with food-retailer Iceland. These cards are designed to give you the flexibility to shop at some of your favourite retailers as and when you need.
Our card products are just like any other loan, you agree a payment date and payments are taken out from this date as chosen by you and outlined in your loan agreement.
The loan repayments are not linked to any spend on your prepaid card – making sure that the card is flexible to you and your needs. When and how you spend the funds with each retailer is entirely up to you – meaning that you can use all, or part of the funds, as and when you need it.
The right product for you will depend on how you’d like to shop and top-up your card, and the type of customer you are.

Existing members of the Good Payers Club over 18 years of age who:
Your first payment will be taken on the date chosen by you and outlined in your loan agreement. Repayments are not linked to the spend on your card or its activation date.
We aim to get your card out to you as quickly as possible – usually within 5-7 business days, but this can take a bit longer when demand is very high and if there are any delays in the postal service.
You can only have one card loan active at anytime so it's important to choose the best one for your needs before applying.
You can use your Shopping Card online and instore at Argos, Iceland, Currys, Carpetright, Habitat, Chemist Direct and Middletons. Please note these retailers are subject to change. More details can be found in your Loan Agreement.
You can use your Food Club Card exclusively at Iceland both online and instore (including at The Food Warehouse).
