We have improved the design of the Chess Bases making them easier to assemble. The bases come in two sections and this allows them to be filled with water and sand to weight them. The pieces now fix together by simply placing the two base sections on top of each other. The top of the chess piece then screws into the base and holds the complete base together. This makes them easier to build and also ensures the chess pieces are strong and stay together during play.
