£75 can go a long way at Iceland!

During the school summer holidays, UK families will spend a staggering £553m extra per week on food.

If you’re worried about how to keep everyone fed and happy over the summer, then an Iceland Food Club loan could be right for you. You can apply for a first loan of £75 at any time. This will be loaded onto a card to be used online or in-store at Iceland (and its sister store, The Food Warehouse).

To help you make the most of your £75, we’ve teamed up with registered dietitian Tanya Haffner.

Tanya has put together an example shopping basket which you can use to make 5 breakfasts, 4 lunches, 5 dinners and 7 snacks for a family of four.* That’s an amazing 21 healthy and budget-friendly meals and snacks for four people!

She’s also pulled together simple and quick recipes to help you make those dishes, and she’s provided some tips and tricks to help you plan meals, avoid food waste, and help your kids enjoy healthy eating.

All of Tanya’s recipes align with The Eatwell Guide from the NHS.

*This calculation is based on two adults, with two older children eating the same size portions as adults. If your children are younger, or if there is only one adult eating, it can go even further.
